The Youth Wing was created with an objective to build a pipeline of future leaders and to provide the youth of the Association a platform to display their talents and channelize them in the right direction for the benefit of the community and towards achieving organizational objectives.

The Youth Wing of BSKBA was born on 13th Jan 1977.

Various activities conducted by the Youth Wing are as follows:-

Children’s day: Children’s day is held on a Sunday around the 14th of November; a day in which the talent of our B. S. K.B. A children is on display. This event offers the youth of our association a good platform to showcase their creative side.

Children’s summer workshop: Children’s Day Summer Workshop is usually held in the summer vacations during the month of May. This workshop is for children between the age groups 7 to 15. It is a 2 day workshop which involves many creative activities in the area of cartoon making, pictionary, craft, personality development,cooking, indoor games etc.

Picnic: An adventurous hike is organized by the youth wing every year usually during the months of July/August. This is the day where members of all age groups come together to explore nature making this is one of the most awaited events of the youth wing.

Youphoria – Inter-school competitions: This is held during the month of September and is the only event for non-Gokul members. BSKBAMany schools from all around Mumbai actively participate and look forward to this day in the year making this event very popular. The events include singing, elocution, quiz, creative writing, painting and’ Discover India’ which cover cultural items including dances from different states of India.

Sports – indoor / outdoor: Indoor sports is held in the month of August. It consists of chess, carom, scrabble and Sudoku. This is a perfect way to enjoy one’s Sunday. Outdoor sports is usually the first event of the year. The athletic abilities of our B. S. K. B.A members are tested. Again, this is a day in which all age groups participate equally.

Independence Day & Republic Day: A skit is organized by the youth-wing on every Independence Day and Republic Day. It is good platform for the members to come on stage and showcase their acting skills.

Dandiya: This popular group folk dance is held in the festive Navaratri week. Members dress up in traditional wear and perform Garba. Prizes are kept for the best dressed, best dancer, best couple etc.
